Фахівці з психічного здоров’я працюють на природі в Україні вже більше десяти років. Однак вони нечисленні, між ними немає професійних контактів, а формальної підготовки з природотерапії, пригодницької терапії, консультування на базі природи, експериментальної педагогіки на відкритому просторі в країні не існує. Війна, що продовжується з 2022 року, до раніше немислимих масштабів руйнує психічне здоровʼя українців, будь то солдати, ветерани чи цивільні особи. Тому постійно зростає потреба у працівниках, які володіють навиками роботи з психологічною травмою.
Методичні тренінги, що поєднують природо- та пригодницьку терапію, а також мережу професіоналів у цій галузі підтримують іноземні експерти, які також є членами Ради Міжнародної організації пригодницької терапії (International Association of Adventure -, and Nature-based Therapies (IAANT).
Mental health professionals in Ukraine have been working with nature-based approaches for over a decade. However, their numbers are limited, and there are no established professional networks or formal training programs in nature therapy, adventure therapy, adventure-based counselling, or outdoor experiential education in the country. The escalation of the war since 2022 has severely impacted the mental health of the Ukrainian population, affecting soldiers, veterans, and civilians alike. As a result, there is an ever-growing need for trauma-informed mental health professionals.
The implementation of a training program that combines nature therapy and adventure therapy, along with the networking of professionals in this field in Ukraine, is supported by foreign adventure therapy instructors who are also members of the Leadership Team (Board) and Working Groups of the International Association of Adventure -, and Nature-based Therapies (IAANT)
